How can I remove the Migadu promo signature?
This is one of the funnier questions we have received. Well, it's easy, just upgrade.
We believe the promo signature is the minimum you can give back for using our service for free. If the signature bothers you, please upgrade. Our plans start at a ridiculously low price.
How do plans differ in features?
Quota limits aside, all plans include all available Migadu features.
How am I billed?
When upgrading from the free account, we will charge you for the upcoming 30 days in advance. If you change the plan during the month, we will prorate for the amount used and give credit towards the new plan for the unused amount.
I've downgraded. Can you refund my outstanding credit?
Of course. Please get in touch. We process all refunds manually.
Where are my folders?
You most likely configured your email to use the POP3 protocol instead of IMAP. POP3 protocol by definition has no support for folders. This means also no access to the Junk folder where we place detected spam messages. If you wish to keep POP3, you can change the spam filter action to modify the subject instead of moving to the Junk folder.
Do I have to pay for each email address?
Absolutely not. You can open as many email addresses as you need at no additional cost. The only important thing to keep in mind is that outgoing messages are counted together from all your mailboxes.
Do I have to pay for each email domain?
While our free unlimited trial plan is limited to only one domain, you can create unlimited domains on all our paid plans at no additional cost. Whether just one or hundreds of them, all your domains are welcome.
How does the daily quota work?
All Migadu accounts are limited with a daily outgoing messages quota. It is a mutual protection against spammers and system abuse. The actual outgoing messages quota depends on the account plan you are on. With the super high daily quota, the Maxi plan is practically unlimited.
What happens if I reach the quota limit?
If the maximum quota limit is reached, you will be warned and kindly asked to upgrade. We will tolerate 25% more messages beyond the quota limit. After that latter limit, it will not be possible to send any more emails until the end of the calendar day (UTC), when the email counters automatically reset.
Are forwarded emails (via aliases) part of the quota?
No they are not. You can have unlimited messages delegated to your other email addresses via our aliases, even if you are on the free account. If the amount of emails your delegate via our aliases goes beyond reason for the plan you are on, we may kindly ask you to upgrade.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. However, if none of those are available to you, please get in touch and we'll work out something.
